“Individuality Is Very Important For A Full Life”

His Holiness the Dalai Lama

We are all different and unique, and I’m here to collaborate with you to create imagery that best represents YOU and celebrates your individuality. There are no set packages. There is no set style. There are no boundaries or rules. This works for people who know precisely what they want and those who don’t. We work together to find your style, aesthetic, and what makes you feel strong, powerful, and beautiful. But, I have studied lighting and painting since I was a child, so my style and preference lean more towards classical lighting, like Rembrandt’s paintings and fashion, along with Vogue magazines. Timeless. Classic. Simple yet complex. Polished yet natural.
I have been photographing people, humanity, and life events as a published and award-winning photojournalist for over a decade. My expertise lies in connecting with anyone on a deeply personal level. Something that can’t be taught but cultivated through years of working with people across language barriers and different cultures. We will share personal stories, anecdotes, laughter, and sometimes tears. I get to learn about you and find a way to incorporate wisdom, introspection, or creativity into my own life. This is not a photography session but an experience. A time when we exist together, and I am fortunate enough to document it. This is an adventure we get to explore together!
The Lone Huntress Photography Studio opened in 2022 to offer my skills, talents, and experience to create portraits and capture family life with the same abilities. This will be a natural flowing session where we all feel comfortable. I’ll probably feel like part of the family or your life, by the time we part ways.
  1. Upon our initial meeting or contact, I will want to know “why.” We need to have clarity from the beginning on what your reasons are. If you have ideas of locations, I may again ask “why.” I want these places to have a special meaning for you and your family. From my personal experience, with some time and communication, we can find an environment that has meaning and relevance to your daily life. Also, I LOVE photographing “A Day In the Life” sessions. This is when I get to be a photojournalist and document your life as it happens daily. They will be memories that you can look back upon that include your home, yard, and events that took place every day. It’s YOUR life. We will also discuss packages and pricing. I work off a day rate with additional fees for print packages. It’s not arbitrary, and I have a few base prices. A single headshot, 20 minutes, starts at $150 and includes one print and that digital file. A portrait session begins at $750 and includes prints and digital files.
  2. The second part will be advising on wardrobes and scheduling. I make house calls, or we can go through wardrobe choices over texting. This is where we ultimately decide what mood we will set during the photography session. I also want you to feel comfortable and like yourself during our session. I do not supply wardrobe pieces as this removes your and can sometimes cause discomfort immediately captured in the images. I am happy to advise a professional wardrobe stylist and possible rental houses in the area.
  3. Photo session. The fun and exciting part.
  4. Reveal. Images will be delivered within two weeks.

Having a photo session with Eleanor is a truly unique experience. Her disarming demeanor, authenticity, and natural curiosity all lend themselves charmingly to the event. Her talent speaks for itself in the final products; beautiful shots! I’m so grateful for my sessions with Eleanor – she has a real flair for shining the light on her subjects! Looking at myself through her lens was truly an enlightening experience.
“Eleanor is a wonderful person and talented photographer to work with. Her passion and enthusiasm for the portraits she captures as well as the way she brings out the best in others. I’ve worked with her on a video and she has done headshots of me in the past, I would definitely recommend her for your next session!”
My portrait session with Eleanor was great, and I’m very pleased with the results. Even better, I have one of her photos from Tibet in a prominent place. It puts a smile on face every day!
“I had a great experience getting a professional head shot with Eleanor. As soon as I walked into the studio I saw that she had a knack for capturing the essence of her subjects on camera; the pictures she has hanging on the walls of her studio were stunning. Our session we did was fun, we spent most of the session chatting and she would take pictures during our exchanges. The resulting head shots were great and I’ve used them both professionally and personally.
Eleanor gave me a fantastic portrait experience. She the made whole process very fun. Her skill in photography is matched with her friendly personality and passion for her work. Bottom line, if you need a portrait, look no further.
Had a great time at Eleanor’s studio! The photobooth she had set up was super fun, and I loved seeing her work displayed in her space. Thanks, Eleanor!
